The FAN ONLY Cycle allows you to move and circulate the air in the room without cooling it. To activate the FAN ONLY Cycle: l Press the FAN ONLY Button. NOTE: When the cycle is active, the indicator light on the FAN ONLY Button will be lit. You can alter the fan speed while using the FAN ONLY Cycle. (See �Modifying the fan speed� on page 7.)

the TIMED
OFF HOURS
Cycle
The TIMED OFF HOURS Cycle allows you to program the air conditioner to turn itself off after a set period of time. Once the cycle is activated, the unit continues in the current operating cycle until the TIMED OFF HOURS Cycle is complete. Then the unit turns itself off. EXAMPLE: If you are using the AUTO COOL Cycle and want to program the air conditioner to turn itself off in 3 hours, press the TIMED OFF HOURS Button until the 3 is lit above the button. The air conditioner will continue to operate in the AUTO COOL Cycle for another 3 hours, then turn itself off. To activate the TIMED OFF HOURS Cycle: l Press the TIMED OFF HOURS Button until the number for the desired time period is lit. The numbers above the button indicate the number of hours set for the cycle. 1 hour --) 3 hours --) 5 hours + OFF

Using
the CHECK
FILTER
The CHECK FILTER Indicator Light comes on approximately every 100 hours of operation. This light alerts you to check the air filter to see if it needs cleaning. If it does, see �Caring for the slide-out air filter� on page 14. To deactivate the CHECK FILTER light: l Press the OFF Button twice. 10
