The service manual when downloaded and printed out was clear and easy to read. The manual is complete with the schematic diagram and technical data. I occasionally require a manual and now having registered with this company I shall order from them in the future.

I am very happy with the owner's manual. I bought a used Casio and was so relieved that I was able to get a hold of a owner's manual. It was very easy to download the manual and I had no problems with printing it. Thank you! Nancy Whalen

The purchased manual is an high-quality scan of the original JVC paper-based Owner´s Manual. I am very satisfied!
Grease filter The grease filter is fitted to absorb grease and dust during cooking, to help keep the appliance clean inside. Your cooker hood can be fitted either with an acrylic grease filter or with multilayer metal filters. The two types of filters require different maintenance operations Acrylic filter The acrylic filter is fitted on the reverse side of the lower inlet grille (Fig. 4). Gradually the filter becomes saturated with grease and it must be replaced. This filter should be replaced on average every 3÷4 months, both to maintain a good depuration capacity and to avoid that a heavy accumulation of grease could cause a fire hazard. To replace the filter remove the inlet grille, push the wire clips to one side and the filter can be removed. Clean the grille before replacing with a new filter. Ensure that the inlet grille is completely dry before fitting the new filter and replacing the retaining clips. Then refit the grille into the hood. Metal filter This type of filter (Fig.5) should be washed every 10 to 15 days (in normal operating conditions). Dip the filter into a degreases solution or put iit in the dish washer. Make sure not to damage the filter, which is made of several layers of thin alloy, by hitting or crushing it. Ensure that the filters are completely dry before refitting into the hood. When replacing the metal filters ensure that the securing bolts will face downward. Charcoal filter In the recycling mode the charcoal filter absorbs cooking smells and odours. If your hood is fitted with the standard fan unit (Fig. 12) only one filter is used. If your hood is fitted with the centrifugal fan unit with two rotors, two charcoal filters are to be fitted, one on each side of the air inlets of the fan unit (Fig. 13). The charcoal filter/s become/s progressively saturated and will need replacing. A charcoal filter should be replaced at least every four months or more frequently if the hood is used consistently. To replace the charcoal filter/s remove the inlet grille or the metal filters. Disconnect the used charcoal filter from the motor support by turning it anticlockwise and removing. Insert a new filter ensuring that the three lugs on the external ring of the filter coincide with the hooks on the motor support. Press the filter firmly down and turn it clockwise until it is fully locked to the motor support. Note: when two charcoal filters are fitted, always ensure to replace both filters at the same time.
