Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

INSTALLATION Adjustment to different types of gas
If a different type of gas from the one indicated in the plate is used, the cooking hob must be adapted to it. 1. The gas nozzles must be changed by AfterSales Service or a qualified technician. Nozzles not supplied with the appliance must be ordered from After-Sales Service. 2. Connect the cooking hob to the gas shut-off valve by means of a pipe suitable for the type of gas used, in compliance with current local regulations. 3. Adjust the minimum setting of the taps. Note: when liquid petroleum gas is used (G 30/ G 31), the minimum gas setting screws must be tightened as far as they will go. Replacing the injectors (see table in enclosed product description sheet) 1. Remove grids . 2. Extract burners . 3. Using a socket spanner of the appropriate size, , unscrew the injector to be replaced.

4. Replace it with the injector suitable for the new type of gas. 5. Re-assemble the injector in . 6. For models equipped with a triple crown burner, proceed as shown in figure. x Remove the two screws followed by the cap then replace both injectors as previously described. Replace the cap , ensuring the seal is properly positioned before attempting to use the cooktop. 7. Before installing the cooktop, remember to affix the gas calibration plate supplied with the injectors in such a way that it covers the existing information relating to gas calibration.

Adjusting minimum gas setting of taps
To ensure that the minimum setting is correctly adjusted, remove knob and proceed as follows: x tighten (-) to reduce the height of the flame; x loosen (+) to increase the height of the flame. The adjustment must be performed with the tap in minimum gas setting position (small flame) .
