 SX-PR100 TECHNICS Owner's Manual by Bob Anderson;
This manual covers the main equipment features only. While it also includes the procedure for saving and loading from the now long obsolete memory cards it does not mention the how to operate with the optional floppy drive interface so I am still at a loss about how to use this! Note that there is a separate manual covering the MIDI interface and programming via the keyboard, not included in this download. You will also need to get hold of this if you want to use the MIDI interface properly. Basically there is little difference between this manual and the free to download manual for the similar PR60 model.

Start delay (depending on model) 1.Select the programme and temperature, any additional options and the spin speed.
2.Press the On/Off button. The indication light flashes. 3.Press for 6 seconds the Start delay button and select the time: 2,4,6 or 8 hours. 4.The programme will start at the desidered time. The start delay can be corrected: switch off the machine, then switch it on and press again Start delay: for 6 seconds you can choose a new delay time. Cancelling the start delay: if, in fact, no start delay was actually desired, switch off the machine and then switch it on again. The selected programme starts immediately. If the programme or options are changed after selecting the Start delay the programme starts if the desired time is reached. N.B. With liquid detergent, a dosing aid placed directly in the drum should be used if a start delay has been selected.

Door lock
The door locks automatically after the programme start until the end of the programme. If the programme selector is moved to the Stop position or if the electricity supply is interrupted, then after approximately one minute the door is released. In this case do not open the door, because hot water could be released from the appliance.

Programme end
The programme selector knob is at the stop position. 1.Press the On/Off button. The indicator light turns off. 2.Cancel the special options by pressing the appropriate buttons. 3.Turn the water supply tap off. 4.Wait for the door to unlock (about one minute). 5.Open the door and unload the machine. N.B. Do not fully close the door but leave it ajar to allow the drum to dry out.

Changing programme
1.Press the On/Off button. The indicator lights turns off. 2.Select the new programme. 3.Press the On/Off button. The new program will re-start. For this programme do not add any further detergent.

Changing options
The options can be selected or deselected without switching off the appliance.

Programme interruption or pause
To interrupt the running programme for a certain period and continue it at a later time: 1.Press the On/Off button. 2.Following the desired pause press the On/Off button once again.

Cancelling the programme
If the current programme is to be terminated prematurely and cancelled, the water must be pumped out first before the door can be opened: 1.Press the On/Off button to switch off the appliance. 2.Set the programme selector to programme setting Drain. 3.Press the On/Off button in order to start the Drain programme.
