It has all the information you will need to fix it. The main circuit diagram is only A4 but being a PDF, you can print it to any size - I did it on two sheets of A3 and it didnt lose any detail - just made it readable when pinned up above the bench. I've found the fault, just need to buy some obscure bits to get it going again!
I cant fault the process, I paid for the manual in the morning and it was ready to download by lunch time.
I am very grateful for this manual. Without it could not repair my receiver.

2-6. Word Sync Output Waveform Confirmation
Preparation 1. Connect each equipment. (Refer to Fig.1 in Section 21-2.) 2. Extend the AVM-6 board using an extension board. 3. Turn on the power of the main unit (PFV-D20/D50/ D100A/D200A/D300) and warm up for ten minutes. Measurement Equipment Oscilloscope Procedures 1. Confirm that S802 (P-8) is set to NORMAL. 2. Provide the output signal from the WORD SYNC OUT connector to the CH1 of an oscilloscope using a coaxial cable. At that time, terminate the input connector of the oscilloscope using 75 Z feedthrough terminator. 3. Observe a waveform in the DC coupling mode of the oscilloscope and confirm that the waveform below is displayed.
