Great manual...really saved me. The only problem is that I thought I would be able to download it directly when I paid for it but never received the download instructions until the next morning. The board trace pages were somewhat light also: really need to turn up the contrast on the printer before printing them. The schematic page was great; very clear! Well worth the money.

I've been in the electronic business for a long time. I used to buy Sam's Photofact for my needs which intailed having to go to the store and paying about $20 for a package of 3 different units so I was forced to buy more than I needed just to get one.
Owner manual is just at your keyboard and the information is almost instantansouly and the cost is very reasonable. Easy to print out if needed or simply read off of the screen. The larger the screen the better for obvious reasons.

Very good manual, at a very good price. Received in a timely manner

Only thу cover has poor quality, internal material has excellent quality - exactly what I needed
Thanks!

Had everything I needed. Onyly took a few hours after paid for by PayPal. The copy was very readable.
BKSR-2021 (Encoder) BKSR-2030 (Decoder)
BKSR-2021 (Encoder) Video System The analog composite video signal from the external equipment is input to the COMPOSITE VIDEO INPUT connector and sent to the VCA & Clamp IC (IC106) where the signal level is controlled. The input signal is then sent to the A/D converter (IC135) where the signal is A/D converted and then sent to the Composite Decode IC (IC313). In IC313, the input signal is Y/C separated and converted to the digital component signal. The analog component video signal from the external equipment is input to the COMPONENT (Y/R-Y/B-Y) VIDEO INPUT connector and sent to the AMP & Clamp circuit (Q209 to Q211, Q213 to Q218) where the signal level is controlled and then sent to the Composite Decode IC (IC313). In IC313, the input signal is A/D converted and receives the multiplexing processing so that the input signal is converted to the digital component signal. The digital component signal that is selected by the Composite Decode IC (IC313) from the digital component input signals, is sent to the TBC IC (IC413) where the desired sync signal is selected, and is sent to the Resize IC (IC420) via the Setup Removal IC (IC416), where the component signal is resized to the desired horizontal pixel size. The digital component signal is then sent to ENC3 IC (IC400) where motion is detected, converted to the MPEG picture data by Encode IC (IC405) and recorded on PCI SDRAM (IC1401 to IC1404). Audio System The analog audio signal from the external equipment is input to the AUDIO INPUT 1/2 connectors and sent to the AMP IC (IC600 to IC603, IC608 to IC611) where the signal level is controlled. The input signal is then sent to the A/D IC (IC618) where the input signal is converted to the digital serial audio signal that is then sent to the Selector IC (IC1004). After the digital serial audio signal is output from the Selector IC, it receives gain control at DSP (IC902) and then receives audio compression at MPEG Encoder (IC700). The compressed data is recorded on PCI SDRAM (IC1401 to IC1404) via FIFO (IC706). Auxiliary Data The closed caption data that is superimposed on the video signal is converted to the 2-byte/field data by the Detect IC (IC502) and is recorded on PCI SDRAM via the CPU bus and AUX DPRAM (IC503).
BKSR-2030 (Decoder) Video System The pictures recorded in the PCI SDRAM are read and sent to the MPEG Decoder (IC301, IC331) via the DMA Control IC (IC201), where the signal is decoded to the base band video signal. The video signal system contains the two decoders in order to enable the signal switching with the frame accuracy. The video signal to which the closed caption signal is added at the signal switching circuit is input to the VIDEO Encoder (IC502) where the AES Audio signal is added and is output from the SDI Encoder (IC551) as the SDI signal. Audio System The audio data recorded in the PCI SDRAM is read and sent to the MPEG Audio Decoder (IC603, IC605, IC607, IC609) via the DMA Control IC (IC201), where the signal is decoded to the PCM audio signal from the audio signal. The PCM audio signal is then sent to the DSP (IC708, IC711) where the signal level is controlled. Then the PCM audio signal takes the two signal paths: One path is connected to the VIDEO Encoder (IC502) where the PCM audio signal is multiplexed into the SDI signal. The other path is connected to the Audio D/A Converter (IC813, IC8013) from which the signal is output as the analog audio signal. Auxiliary Data The auxiliary data recorded in the PCI SDRAM is read and sent to the FIFO (IC202) via the DMA Control IC (IC201). The auxiliary data is then sent to the Closed Caption PLD (IC401) where the closed caption signal is created from the auxiliary data, and added to the video signal.
