Using the Tap Method
This is the standard entry method for entering text on your phone. Press M > Entry Method from a text entry screen and select Tap Method. Press 1 A number key one or more times 2 Number keys 3 OK (+) To select a letter, number, or symbol shown in the chart on page 35. enter the remaining characters store the text

See the chart on page 35. � If you do not press a key for 2 seconds, the character in the block cursor is accepted, and the cursor moves to the next position. � Press S left or right to move the flashing cursor to the left or right in a text message. � The first character of every sentence is capitalized. Press S down to force the character to lowercase while it is highlighted by the block cursor.
