I was so happy that the owner's manual was available. It is well written and helped me to use the radio/CD player/recorder without problems. Thanks for making it available.

Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

A symbol near the cooktop control knobs shows which element IS lurned on by each knob
Check the Choosing Cookware char? on page 9 to see which type of cookware is best for each type of cooking you do. Pans must cover the entire element to absorb the full heat output An undersized pan WIIIexpose part of the element and the uncovered part will glow red. This shows heat and energy are being wasted. Use pans that: A. Have flat bottoms and straight sides. B. Have light handles that do not tilt pans. C. Are about the same size as the element When possible, thaw frozen foods before cooklng. cook with the mInImum amount 01 water and use a pan with a tightly flttlng Ild. Put pans on the cooktop elements before the heat ISturned on, so you will not waste heat. Be sure to watch foods when heating them quickly on HI As soon as the food reaches the cooking temperature, reduce the heat to the lowest setting that will keep it cooklng. Turn the element off just before cooking is done, to use the remaining heat to finish cooking and keep food warm before serving. Never leave an empty pan on a hot element. This can damage the range cooktop, reflector bowl and pan, and the element.
. The cooktop controls can be set anywhere between LO and HI for an unllmlted number of heat settings. To turn the control knobs from the OFF position, push the knobs in, then turn in either direction. Start your cooking at a higher setting to speed element heat up, then turn the control to a lower senlng to flnlsh cooklng. Remember that cooking WIIIcontmue after the unit IS turned off. Train yourself to turn controls down or off before cooking IS fInIshed See the chart below for suggested control settings

Never line reflector bowls with aluminum foil. Foil can block normal heat flow, and damage the range. This is especially true if foil blocks the oven vent tube under the right rear cooktop element.
