This is a good quality scan of the Operation & Maintenance (Service) Manual for the PAL version of this high-band broadcast umatic, BVU-800P
All schematics and lineup procedures appear to be included in this one manual AFAICT.
The file size is just over 113 MB which gives an idea of the quality and number of pages.
All of the schematics, which contain some fairly small print, are easily readable when you zoom into the page.

Adjusting the exposure
Adjusting the exposure for backlit subjects � BACK LIGHT
When you shoot a subject with the light source behind the subject or a subject with a light background, use the backlight.
Adjusting the exposure manually
Adjust the exposure manually in the following cases: � when you need a fine adjustment for subjects against the light. � when the subject is too bright against the background. � when recording dark pictures (e.g. night scenes).
BACK LIGHT button
FAR
NEAR

Set the mode dial to (Still).
(Movie) or
Press BACK LIGHT. The . indicator appears on the LCD display.
EXPOSURE button
To cancel BACK LIGHT
Press BACK LIGHT again. Note If you press EXPOSURE (page 48) when shooting with BACK LIGHT, the backlight will be canceled.

Set the mode dial to (Still). Press EXPOSURE.

Shooting movies/still images
The exposure indicator appears.
