Generally speaking good copy; a few pages too hard contrast... Good service and communication.
 VSXD701S PIONEER Owner's Manual by Brad Copeland;
I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

Trimming

Movie files (and picture files treated as movie files) can be arranged on the Storyboard by dragging & dropping their thumbnails from the thumbnail list window. If necessary, ImageMixer will automatically export an MPEG1 version of the media to facilitate the editing process. 1. Double-click a movie clip already placed on the Storyboard.
When a movie or still picture file arranged on the Storyboard is not in the MPEG1 format used in the Movie edit mode, ImgeMixer will automatically export the file as an MPEG1 formatted file. In this case, the original file remains and the exported file that is created is saved and added to the album. In Macintosh, when a movie file is arranged on the Storyboard system memory is consumed. When many movie files are arranged and there is a low amount of free memory an insufficient memory error message may be displayed. In this case, increase the amount of free memory by increasing the virtual memory size. Virtual memory size can be adjusted from the memory control panels under the Apple menu.

2. When a moving picture file to be arranged on a storyboard is the first file put on the storyboard, the dialog below is displayed for selecting the edit size. Select the edit size and click [OK].

When using a moving picture file that has a non-standard frame size in Video CD creation, it will be necessary to change the size. In this case, the image quality improves if you check [Use interlace process in size changes]. However, file conversion takes longer when this process is used, so only select it as needed. This dialog box will not be displayed when the moving picture file is not the first one placed on the storyboard. When the settings are completed, the selected edit size is displayed on the storyboard.

3. The Movie Editor window will appear. 4. Use the play position slider to define the point (frame) at which you want the movie to begin playing. Click the [In-point] button. 5. Use the play position slider to define the point (frame) at which you want the movie to stop playing. Click the [Out-point] button. 6. Preview the edited scene by clicking the [Trimmed range preview] button.
