Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Special VCD & SVCD features
Playback Control (PBC)
¶ ¶ Load a Video CD with PBC and press B. Go through the menu with the keys indicated on the TV screen until your chosen passage starts to playback. If a PBC menu consists of a list of titles, you can select a title directly. Enter your choice with the numerical keys (0-9). Press RETURN to go back to the previous menu. You may also set to PBC OFF under Personal Preferences. ¶ ¶ ¶
Moving to another track
Press S or T briefly during playback to go to the next or to return to the beginning of the current track. Press S twice briefly to step back to the previous track. To go directly to any track, enter the track number using the numerical keys (0-9).
Shuffle
¶ ¶ Press SHUFFLE during playback. � The order of the tracks is changed. To return to normal playback, press SHUFFLE again.

Playing an audio CD
¶ ¶ ¶ ¶ ¶ ¶ After loading the disc, playback starts automatically. If the TV is on, the Audio CD screen appears. The number of tracks and the total playing time will be shown on the screen. During playback, the current track number and its elapsed playing time will be shown on the screen and on the player display. Playback will stop at the end of the disc. To stop playback at any other time, press 9.
Repeat track/disc
¶ ¶ ¶ To repeat the track currently playing , press REPEAT. � REPEAT TRK appears on the display. To repeat the entire disc, press REPEAT a second time. � REPEAT appears on the display. To exit Repeat mode, press REPEAT a third time.
Repeat A-B
¶ ¶ ¶ To repeat a sequence: Press REPEAT A-B at your chosen starting point; � A- appears on the player display. Press REPEAT A-B again at your chosen end point; � A-B appears on the display, and the sequence begins to playback repeatedly. To exit the sequence, press REPEAT A-B again.
Scan Pause
¶ ¶ Press ; during playback. To return to playback, press B. ¶ ¶ Scanning plays the first 10 seconds of each track on the disc. Press SCAN. To continue playback at your chosen track, press SCAN again or press B.
Search
¶ To search forward or backward through the disc at four times normal speed, hold down S or T for about one second during playback. � Search begins, and sound is partially muted. To step up to eight times the normal speed, press S or T again. � Search goes to eight times the speed, and the sound is muted. To return to four times the normal speed, press S or T again. If the TV is on, search speed and direction are indicated on the screen each time S or T is pressed. To end the search, press B to resume playback or 9 to stop.
FTS Programme
¶ ¶ FTS Programme allows you to store your favourite tracks for a particular disc in the player memory. Each FTS Programme can contain 20 tracks.
