Awesome quality manual. You really saved my bacon with this one. Was looking for some specific information with regards to my "new" vintage VCR that didn't come with the owners manual. This site is truely a goldmine of available manuals. The quality of the scans are top notch.
Thank-you so much for this awesome manual. If you're looking for this Sony SL-HF400 owners manual, this is the one you NEED to buy. Definitely worth the money.

The manual was made available promptly. I is a clean scan of the original. I had no problem downloading it. The scan was well centered and cleanly formatted. It is as good a product as can be had without being the original document.

Received downlink in less then 8 hours, Item was in good copy condition, and told me how to program the clock timer. The price was very resonable, and the process was very automated and was GREAT to work with.

Fast service, document is OK. Thanks! Searched for it long time.

I was very pleased with the manual I got for my amateur (ham) radio. Without it I could not figure out how to input and/or change the P/L setting on my radio. It drove me nuts as the radio was essentially useless. That all changed when my manual came. Then it took only minutes and I was done. Now my radio works fine. This is an exceptionally good resource as it's a very easy and user friendly download. Thank you very much! Dziękujemy za!

Recording
If Optimized Rec (see Optimized Rec on page 101) is set to On, the recorder will adjust the recording quality to try and fit the recording on the disc. If the recording will not fit onto the disc even on MN1 recording quality then the Recovery Recording feature will automatically make the recording to the HDD instead. For an HDD timer recording, if there are already 99 titles on the HDD, the message Title Over appears. If a timer program overlaps another in the list, the message Overlap appears. 6 Hour Over is displayed if a recording over 6 hours is set. 5 To exit the timer recording screen, press HOME MENU. Note When Optimized Rec is On, Optimized Recording takes priority over Recovery Recording when recording to DVD. In other words, if theres not enough space on the DVD disc for the recording to complete on the recording quality set, the recorder will first try and adjust the recording quality. If the recorder cant compensate using a lower recording mode setting, then the HDD is used for Recovery Recording. If there is very little free space left on the HDD, an Auto Replace Recording may not complete successfully. If the HDD is being used for playback or high-speed copying when an Auto Replace Recording is due to start, the new timer recording will not replace the old one. However, the next time the timer recording starts, both of the older two programs will be erased.

Timer recording using the G-Code programming system
This system makes programming timer recordings very simple. Most TV guides publish G-Code programming numbers with their program details. If you want to make a timer recording of a program, you just input the corresponding code. The date, start, stop and channel settings are made automatically. All you have to do is tell the recorder the recording mode, and whether its a once-only recording or a regular recording.
