The Philips scope is of excellent quality, longevity and build and had a couple of faults
when it was passed to me. Having the CCT diagrams is a blessing.
I have fixed the problems and also modded the scope to my requirements.
I have built a 24v Li-Ion pack for portable use from old but good laptop batts.

Kochstellenregler
Regler für Normalkochzonen oder Gusskochplatten
werden nach rechts oder links gedreht und auf die gewünschte Leistung mit den Positionen 1 bis 9 eingestellt.
Regler für Glaskeramik mit Zweikreiskochzonen
Achtung! Zum Einschalten nur nach rechts und nicht über den Anschlag des Symbols hinaus drehen. Zum Ausschalten nur nach links drehen. Kleiner Heizkreis für Normalkochzonen oder Gusskochplatten Drehen Sie den Regler nach rechts. Der kleine Heizkreis kann im Bereich 1 bis 9 geregelt werden.
Grosser und kleiner Heizkreis für Glaskeramik mit Zweikreis-Kochzone Drehen Sie den Regler über Position 9 hinaus bis zum Anschlag bei Symbol . Der Regler springt auf die Position 9 zurück.
Beide Heizkreise sind nun eingeschaltet und sind gemeinsam zwischen den Positionen 1 bis 9 regulierbar. Bei erneutem Einschalten der ZweikreisKochzone muss der grosse Heizkreis wieder zugeschaltet werden. Kontrollieren Sie nach Gebrauch, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist. Alle Regler müssen auf der 0-Position sein.
