Thank you for having the manual I needed for an older model Aiwa stero I had found on Ebay --- I wanted the Aiwa because I had tapes and cd's but I did not have a manual as to how to operate the system... I found what I needed and it has enabled me to set the system up for my enjoyment.
The manual was very helpfull, it answerdes all my questions, and i was surprized to find the original manual on this site! Big thumbs uP:)

Symptom Auto Focus does not focus properly. Possible Cause 1) The lens is dirty. 2) The subject is not located in the center of the focus frame when you compose the image. 3) The subject you are shooting is a type that is not compatible with Auto Focus operation (page 57). 4) You are moving the camera. The image is not focused properly. Action 1) Clean the lens. 2) Make sure the subject is centered in the focus frame when composing the image. 3) Use manual focus (page 78).
4) Mount the camera on a tripod. When composing the image, make sure the subject on which you want to focus is located inside the focus frame. 1) When composing the image, make sure the subject on which you want to focus is located inside the focus frame (page 53). 2) Change the focus mode to � � (Auto Focus, page 73) or � � (infinity, page 77). 3) Change the BEST SHOT scene to �Scenery� (page 86). 1) Select a different flash mode (page 62). 2) Charge the battery (page 33). 3) Select a different flash mode (page 62) or BEST SHOT scene (page 86).
The subject is out of focus in the recorded image.

Scenery shots are out of focus.
1) The image is not focused properly.

The flash does not fire.
1) � � (flash off) is selected as the flash mode. 2) The battery is dead. 3) A scene that selects � � (flash off) as the flash mode is selected in the BEST SHOT mode.
