GQ-100TH
3 Plug the power cord into a 220-240V, 50/60Hz, grounded (2prong) AC outlet.
2 Unwrap the roll of fax paper and insert it in the compartment.

Make sure the hubs on each side of the compartment fit into the ends of the roll. The hub on the left side is mounted on a spring to allow for insertion. Important: The roll must be placed so that the leading edge of the paper feeds from over the top of the roll. (The paper is only coated on one side for printing. If the roll is placed upside down, the paper will come out blank after printing.)

Caution: The mains outlet (socket-outlet) shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible. The fax does not have a power on/off switch, so the power is turned on and off by simply plugging in or unplugging the power cord.

4. Loading the recording paper
1 Grasp the finger hold on the right side of the paper compartment
cover, and pull up to open the cover. Remove the packing paper from the paper compartment.

Caution! If you are replacing the paper, do not touch the metal strip in the compartment. It may be hot if a document has just been printed.
Note: The paper roll provided is only a sample roll which is approximately 50 m long.
3 Pass the leading edge of the paper over the roller and through the
outlet in the paper compartment cover. Remove any slack.
THERMAL PAPER: FO-40PRw
4 Close the cover and then press the START key. A short length of
the fax paper will feed out. Grasp the paper by the edge and pull upward to tear it off.
