Actually, I was looking for this information for 3 years!...now thanks to you, the manual is on my hands and of great help, cause I understand now where I was doing wrong connections and wires...excellent, I'll be back to you if in need, thank you.

This manual covers the main equipment features only. While it also includes the procedure for saving and loading from the now long obsolete memory cards it does not mention the how to operate with the optional floppy drive interface so I am still at a loss about how to use this! Note that there is a separate manual covering the MIDI interface and programming via the keyboard, not included in this download. You will also need to get hold of this if you want to use the MIDI interface properly. Basically there is little difference between this manual and the free to download manual for the similar PR60 model.

Character Generator
You can enter an original title of up to 18 characters.
ACCESS MENU SCREEN

Select Dial MENU Jog Dial
Turn the Select Dial to any position except AUTO LOCK, then press the MENU Jog Dial. The Menu Screen appears.
ACCESS CHARACTER MENU

Rotate the MENU Jog Dial to move the highlight bar to �CHARACTER�, then press it.

INPUT CHARACTERS
Menu Screen Rotate the MENU Jog Dial to make the desired character blink, then press it. The selected character appears at the bottom of the screen. Repeat for additional characters (max. 18). �To select the location of the next character, rotate the MENU Jog Dial to make � BACK �or �NEXT � at the bottom of the screen blink, then press it repeatedly to move the blinking cursor underneath the desired location. Rotate the MENU Jog Dial when you are done, and the blinking cursor returns to the character grid. GR-AX480 only

Or, to erase selected characters only, first move the blinking cursor to the characters at the bottom row which you want to replace, then rotate the MENU Jog Dial to highlight � � in the top left corner, and then press it. � To display the characters you have set � �Date/Time/ Character Insert� ( pg. 17) or � Instant Titles� ( pg. 21).
� Characters may be set only in the Record-Standby mode.
