This GRUNDIG UV5A Owner Manual is not only an instruction manual but a total functional circuit description of the Multimeter and includes circuit diagram at the end pages. It is very helpful for repairing and calibrating the instrument. It is written in two languages English and German for international support. It was very easy to repair my unit with this document. The owner's manual was evetything I thought it would be. I was able to print it out using both sides of the paper in quick order, saving me a search online for a used one.
Was happy to find the complete owners manual... It's all in there, just like the original...

Using the remote control
Preparing the remote control for use
Installing the remote control batteries 1. Open the battery cover of the back of the remote control.
Slide in the direction ° ¼ the ½ � � � of´ � · � ò á ý ¼¿�¶�¸� ´��º� arrow to remove the battery cover.
2. Install two AA size(1.5V) batteries. Match the + and - signs on the batteries to the signs on the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery cover on to the remote control. Note: 1.Dispose of your batteries in a designated disposal area. Do not throw your batteries into fire. 2.Do not mix battery types or combine used batteries with new ones. 3.Remove dead batteries immediately to prevent battery acid from leaking into the battery compartment. 4.If you do not intend to use the remote control for a long time, remove the batteries. 5.The effective range of remote control is suggested in the figure.
