This was a very hard to find manual. The unit is long discontinued and Pioneer doesn't retain every manual for every model. Thanks owner's-manual.com!

from diabetes mellitus, haemophilia or immunodeficiency should also consult their doctor first. Using an epilator may cause reddening or irritation of the skin. This is a normal reaction that will quickly disappear. However, you should consult your doctor if the irritation has not disappeared within three days. Regular massages with a massaging glove or loofah may help to prevent ingrowing hairs. To prevent damage and injuries, keep the running appliance away from your hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, clothes, threads, cords, brushes, etc. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children. Only use the appliance in combination with the mains cord and adapter supplied. If the mains cord or adapter of this appliance is damaged, it may only be replaced by a cord with adapter of the original type. The adapter contains a transformer. Do not cut off the adapter to replace it with another plug, as this will cause a hazardous situation. HP 2841: Noise level: L=74 dB(A) re 1pW. HP 2840: Noise level: L=76 dB(A) re 1pW. Preparing for use When you use the appliance for the first time, we advise you to try it out on an area with only light hair growth to get accustomed to the epilation process. As the hairs are removed by the root, epilation may cause some skin discomfort the first few times you use the epilator. This effect will gradually diminish when you use the appliance more often. Regrowth tends to be softer both in appearance and to the touch. Make sure your skin is clean, entirely dry and free from grease. Do not use any cream before you start epilating. Epilation is easier just after taking a bath or shower. Make sure your skin is completely dry when you start epilating. After epilation, you can apply a mild cream or lotion to help reduce possible skin irritation. It will make your skin feel smoother and will give you a fresh sensation. Do not use lotions that contain alcohol.
