I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

Instructions for Installation
Removing the Old Water Heater
Turn "OFF" the gas supply to the water heater. @ Disconnect the vent heater. In most installations the vent connect to the water pipe from the draft hood where they pipe can be lifted off after any screw or other attached devices are removed. Dispose of the draft hood.
