I'm so glad I was able to find a site to download my missing manuals. Very reasonable prices and they kept me informed about the process and I had my manual within less than a day. The only thing I wish was an option is a 100% English version with no spanish or anything. But overall great site.

The manual is complete with excellent quality! One suggestion, show number of pages and weather it is multi-lingual. The AD 600 Manuel is about 76 pages and over half is non English. This results in a larger print job than usually needed. Having this information, one could select the desired pages for printing.

I've been looking for a copy of the original user/owner manual. Just what the doctor ordered, thank you.

This is an excellent handbook. We had no information on the appliance until we obtained this and are now able to use the appliance to its full potential. Strongly recommended.
- Hitch the lower tube onto the vacuum cleaner (fig. 16-17). You can slide the clip along the tube to change the height. Replacing the dustbag Replace the dustbag as soon as the dustbag full indicator becomes red, even when the nozzle is not placed on a surface (fig. 18). - Switch the vacuum cleaner off. - Open the cover (fig. 19). - Push the dustbag holder backwards (fig. 20). - Remove the full dustbag by pulling the cardboard tag (fig. 21). This automatically closes the dustbag. - Slide the cardboard front plate of the new dustbag into the two slots of the dustbag holder as far as possible (fig. 22). - Push the dustbag holder forwards (Click!) (fig. 23). Note that it is not possible to close the cover when no dustbag has been placed. Philips s-bag paper dustbags are available under type number FC 8021. The motor protection filter Your appliance has been equipped with a greatly improved, triple permanent motor protection filter. This filter ensures an optimal protection of the motor. This filter does not need to be replaced. This means that you can simply throw away the replacement filter that is supplied with the dustbags, since this filter is only required for older versions of this vacuum cleaner. All you have to do is shake out the permanent filter and reinsert it into the vacuum cleaner every time you put in a new dustbag (fig. 24-26). - Position the filter in the holder as it was previously placed and press it firmly. - Push the holder with the clean filter into its place so that the filter fits correctly at the bottom.
Replacing the AFS-Micro filter (not in all models) The AFS-Micro filter will filter through its electrostatically charged fibres a large part of the smallest particles of the exhaust air. Change the AFS-Micro filter when you place the first of a new set of dustbags. - Position the lower edge and sides of the new filter properly behind the ridges of the holder (fig. 27). - When closing the holder, ensure that the filter fits in completely (fig. 28). S-Class filter (not in all models) Instead of the AFS-Micro filter, some vacuum cleaners are equipped with a revolutionary S-Class filter. The S-Class filter is capable of removing from the outlet air at least 99.97% of all the particles measuring 0.0003 mm and more. This includes not only normal domestic dust, but also harmful microscopic vermin such as glycyphagii and their excrements. These are known as causes of bronchial allergies. To guarantee optimum air filtering, the SClass filter needs replacement at least once a year. For replacement, single S-Class filters are available from your dealer under type n°. HR 6992 or service n°. 4822 480 10084. Replacing the S-Class filter - Open the filter holder (fig. 29). - Remove the old filter (fig. 30). - Place the S-Class filter in the filter holder (fig. 31). - Put the S-Class filter holder in the appliance with the lever pointing upwards (fig. 32-33). - Close the filter holder and push the lever down (fig. 34).
