Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Paikallishaku <Viritin-tilassa>
Automaattinen hakutoiminto hakee ainoastaan sellaisia asemia, joiden vastaanotto on hyvä. Näyttö "Local.S OFF" "Local.S ON" Asetus Paikallishakutoiminto on kytketty pois päältä. Paikallishakutoiminto on kytketty päälle. Näyttö "AF ON" "AF OFF" Asetus AF-toiminto on kytketty päälle. The-toimintoa ei ole kytketty päälle.
Kun AF-toiminto on kytketty päälle, "RDS" ilmaisin syttyy.
Mikäli saman ohjelman lähetystä RDS-verkon toisella taajuudella ei löydy, vastaanotto saattaa katkeilla. Kytke tällöin AF-toiminto pois.
Viritys-tila <Viritin-tilassa>
Asettaa viritystavan. Viritys-tila Automaattinen haku Esitallennetun aseman hakeminen Manual Näyttö "Auto1" "Auto2" "Manual" Toiminta Aseman automaattinen haku. Etsii asemat muistiin tallennetussa järjestyksessä. Normaali manuaalinen viritys.
RDS-alueen rajoittaminen (Aluerajoitustoiminto)
Voit päättää haluatko rajoittaa RDS-kanavia, jotka AF-toiminto vastaanottaa tietyssä verkossa ja tietyllä alueella. Näyttö "Regional ON" "Regional OFF" Asetus Aluerajoitustoiminto on kytketty päälle. Aluerajoitustoimintoa ei ole kytketty päälle.

Saman verkon puitteissa toimivat asemat lähettävät toisinaan erilaisia ohjelmia tai käyttävät erilaisia ohjelmapalvelunimiä.

Auto TP-haku
Mikäli TI-toiminto on kytketty päälle ja vastaanotto liikennetiedoteasemaa kuunneltaessa on heikko, toiminto hakee automaattisesti paremman aseman. Näyttö "ATPS ON" "ATPS OFF" Asetus Auto TP haku-toiminto on kytketty päälle. Auto TP haku-toimintoa ei ole kytketty päälle.
AF (Vaihtoehtoinen taajuus)
Mikäli vastaanotto on laadultaan heikko, siirtyminen saman ohjelman lähetykseen RDS-verkon toisella taajuudella tapahtuu automaattisesti. � 102 �
