Awesome quality manual. You really saved my bacon with this one. Was looking for some specific information with regards to my "new" vintage VCR that didn't come with the owners manual. This site is truely a goldmine of available manuals. The quality of the scans are top notch.
Thank-you so much for this awesome manual. If you're looking for this Sony SL-HF400 owners manual, this is the one you NEED to buy. Definitely worth the money.

The manual was made available promptly. I is a clean scan of the original. I had no problem downloading it. The scan was well centered and cleanly formatted. It is as good a product as can be had without being the original document.

Received downlink in less then 8 hours, Item was in good copy condition, and told me how to program the clock timer. The price was very resonable, and the process was very automated and was GREAT to work with.

Handset
With the handset facing you, the antenna is a narrow 2 inch long protrusion at the top right. Just below the top on the front of the handset is a shallow oval concave. This is the earpiece. The smooth surface below the earpiece is the display. Immediately below the display are three buttons: the left one is the FUNCTION button, the middle one is the MUTE button and the right one is the CALLER IQ button. The FUNCTION button is also the 2WAY REC button. In the center below these buttons is the NAVIGATOR control, which is a large rectangular control with four active areas. The active areas are the 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions. The 12 and 6 o'clock positions are the UP and DOWN keys respectively. These are also the volume control up and down keys. The 3 and 9 o'clock positions are the right and left arrow keys. These are also the EDIT and CH keys respectively. To the upper left of the NAVIGATOR control, an oval button with a clipped edge is the TALK button. The oval button below the TALK button is the SPEAKERPHONE button. To the upper right of the NAVIGATOR control, an oval button with a clipped edge is the OFF button. The oval button below the OFF button is the HOLD button. The HOLD button is also the INTERCOM or CLEAR button. Below these buttons is the telephone keypad laid out in the conventional telephone arrangement with a "nib" on the 5 button. On the lower left below the keypad is the FLASH button. The FLASH button is also the CALL WAIT or PLAYBACK button. On the lower right of the keypad is the REDIAL button. The REDIAL button is also the PAUSE button. The indentation between the FLASH and REDIAL button is the microphone. The 2 metal ridges at the bottom of the handset are the charge contacts. The headset jack is on the left side of the handset, at almost the same height as the top row of the buttons. It has a rubber cover that can be opened by pulling down, and is not removable.
