Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

INSTRUCTIONS
A WABM wash is a mi�tnre of water from the hot and cold faucets. Rinse water will be cold. Use this for items with moderate amount of soil and eolored items. A COLD wash and rinse is the temperature of water from the cold faucet. Use this setting to minimize fading of brightly colored items and shrinkage of washable woolens. NOTE: Water below 65° F is too eold to dissolve and I activate laundry- detergents. Results maybe poor. ] Soaking To soak heavily soiled or stained items on the Regular or Permanent Press cycle, push in the control knob after the washer has agitated a few mimltes. This will stop the washer and let tile load soak. Generally, soak periods up to 30 minutes are sufficient for most loads (overnight soaking is not necessary or reeommended). When soaking, use up to 50% more detergent OR a presoak product such as BizL To start washing again, pull out the control knob and the washer _41l resume the cycle at the point of interruption. °Brandnames arethe trademarkofthe respective manufacturers.

The pre-set seleetor knob can be set to two distinct settings - PARTIAL and FULL. Turn the selector knob to tbe setting that matches the size of the load. If more water is needed once the fill is complete, move the knob to Reset, then to the desired setting, must circulate freely. Push in the cycle control knob and turn clockwise the proper cycle and water temperature,

Pull out the cycle control knob to start the washer. You will hear water entering the wash tnb. Do not move the knob while the washer is operating. Push in the cycle control knob to stop the washer and turn knob clockwise to the desired setting. The washer will panse briefly throughout These pauses are normal. each cycle.
This washer is designed so that it will not agitate or spin when the lid is ()pen. It ,_411, owevel; fill witb the lid h open so water is available fbr pretreating stains or diluting fabric softener. Should the lid be opened during a cycle, the washer will stop; when the lid is closed and the control knob is pulled out, the washer will resume its cycle at the point it was interrupted. NOTE: tf the washer stops during the spin, it maybe due to an unbalanced load. If this happens, push in the control knob, open the lid, redistribute the load, close the lid and pull out the control knob.
When HOT wash is selected, the water x_41lbe the temperature coming from the hot water fhucet. Rinse water w4ll be cold. Use this setting for heavily soiled whites and colorfast items.
