3 REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
3.1.
3.1.1.
Dust Cover
Removal
3. Remove the two (2) cord stopper screws, the wire connectors, and wire tie, if present.
1. Remove dust bin. 2. Remove adjustable handle and unplug the vacuum cleaner. Press the handle release pedal and lay the vacuum cleaner down.
3.2.2.
Installation
1. Insert the new power cord (power cord replacement only) with approximately five (5) inches of new power cord extending into the dust compartment. This distance is to be measured from the cord stopper to the end of the longest power cord lead. NOTE: Never reuse a cord stopper. Always install a new cord stopper whenever the old one is removed. 2. Install the new cord stopper, (power cord replacement only), the two (2) cord stopper screws and the wire connectors. NOTE: For general servicing, it is necessary to eliminate pinching of any wire during reassembly. After servicing any electrical component or electrical enclosure, the vacuum cleaner should be reassembled and checked for dielectric breakdown or current leakage.

OFF/HIGH/LOW Switch Replacement
Removal
1. Remove the dust cover as outlined in Dust Cover Removal and Replacement section. 2. Remove body support. 3. Remove five (5) screws that secure the dust cover. 4. Carefully lift dust cover from body.
3.1.2.
Replacement
1. Carefully place dust cover onto body. 2. Reinstall the five (5) screws removed from disassembly. 3. Re-install dust bin. NOTE: For general servicing, it is necessary to eliminate pinching of any wire during reassembly. After servicing any electrical component or electrical enclosure, the vacuum cleaner should be reassembled and checked for dielectric breakdown or current leakage.

Power Cord
Removal
3. Disconnect electrical connection then depress tabs on body support to remove damaged OFF/HIGH/LOW switch.
1. Remove dust bin and dust cover as outlined in the Dust Cover Removal section. 2. Remove the two (2) screws that secure the tool caddy. and then remove the tool caddy.
