Service Hints - Replacing the CD Drive
1. Loosen screw A 2. Remove cover as shown in picture 1
10-4 Attention: The laser diode of this CD drive is protected against ESD by a solder joint which short-circuits the laser diode to ground. For proper functionality of the CD drive this solder joint must be removed after connecting the drive to the set.
picture 1 3. Loosen screw B (see picture 2) 4. Open slot loader
Don�t forget to fix the flat-foil again. Pay attention in the wiredressing. (see picture 4)
picture 4 picture 2 5. Loosen 3x screw C (see picture 3) 6. Disconnect wire D and flex-foil E Attention: Flex-foil E is fixed to the printed circuit board with a double-sided adhesive tape.
Mount the upper part of the slot loader. Pay attention in the wire-dressing.
