The purchased manual is an high-quality scan of the original JVC paper-based Service Manual. The Service Manual includes the Owner´s Manual, so you do not have to buy both of them.
6.3.10 Lower Frame Assembly (1) Power Board i. Turn the frame unit, the scanning face of I.S. towards table, to face the back of power board. Loosen all the tapping screws of ground wires. ii. Loosen 4 pieces of M3 8 tapping screws and pull out connectors on the power board. Remove the power board. (2) N.C.U. Board Assembly i. ii. Loosen 4 pieces of M3 8 tapping screws and pull out connectors on the power board. Remove the N.C.U. Board Assembly and Jack Board. Separate jack board with N.C.U. board.
(3) Put the assembly on the table and face T.P.H.. (4) Back Tension Retainer Lift the elastic arm of the retainer, locating on one side of the compartment of pull-side ribbon, a little bit and remove the retainer, helical compression spring. Note: i. the surface, touching green bushing of pull-side ribbon roll, of the retainer should stick on a felt before assembled. ii. The larger coil of the helical compression spring should touch the lower frame after assembled. (5) Gear Train of Take-up Ribbon and T.P.H. Stepping Motor i. Invert the lower frame to face the T.P.H. stepping motor (� 42 mm). Loosen one piece of M2.6 5 tapping screw on the outside of gear, remove gears. ii. Loosen 2 pieces of M3 6 taptite screws, then remove the motor. (6) Peel-off Tension Bar and Tension Bar Take out peel off tension bar and tension bar out of their holes on lower frame and brackets of T.P.H. assembly, separately. (7) T.P.H. Assembly i. Stretch out the elastic arm of brackets on both sides of T.P.H. to leave its spindle and turn the assembly until it can be removed from lower frame. Also, 3 pieces of compression springs can be taken out of their holes on lower frame. ii. Loosen 4 pieces of tapping screws on the bracket, and take out 2 brackets. (8) Ribbon Sensor Loosen one M3 8 tapping screw, remove the sensor. (9) Cover Switch Turn the lower frame to face the switch on the right of lower frame. Loosen one piece of M2.3 10 tapping screw and take out the switch.
