I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

Turning the power OFF � page 21
2 Open the battery/SD card cover.
Slide the battery/SD card cover 1, and open it 2.
3 Make sure that the SD card is inserted in the correct
direction as shown in the figure 3 above.
Make sure that the card is inserted as far as it can go.
4 Close the battery/SD card cover.
Close the battery/SD card cover 1, and slide it 2. Make sure that the battery cover is firmly closed.
Removing SD card
1 Make sure that the camera power is turned OFF.
If the power is ON, turn it OFF.
