I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. Using the Self-Cleaning Cycle
The Self-Cleaning cycle uses very high heat to burn away soll. Before you start, make sure you understand exactly how to use the Seif-Cleanlng cycle safely.
Befom You &art
1 - Clean the shaded areas by hand. They do not get hot enough durlng the Self-Cleaning cycle for soil to burn away. Use hot water and detergent or a soapy steel wool pad on... l The lnslde of the door. (The center area of the door does not need to be hand cleaned.) The fmme around the oven. l DO NOT Clean, move or bend the flbergiass seal. Poor cleaning and poor baking will result. 2. Remove the broiler pan and any pots and pans you may have stored In the oven. They can�t stand the heat.
3. Wipe
out any loose soil or grease. Thls will help reduce smoke durlng the SelfCleanIng cycle. if the oven has a rotisserle, make sure the motor socket cover is closed. if you want the oven racks to remain shiny, remove from the oven and olean by hand. otherwlse, put oven racks on second and fourth guldes (guldes are counted from bottom to top). After racks are cleaned In the SelfCleanlng cycle, they become harder to slide. See chart on page 20.

Turn on the vent hood or other kitchen vent durlng the Self-Cleaning cycle. Thls wlli help remove heat and odors that are normal durlng the cycle.

Personal InJury and Product Damage Hazard Do not touch the oven during the Self-Cieanlng cycle. It could burn you. Do not use commercial oven cleaners in your oven. Cleaners may produce hazardous fumes or damage the porcelain flnish. Do not force the Lock lever, you could bend or break it. The lever is designed to stay locked until the oven is cool enough to safely open. Walt until it moves freely. Do not use foil or other liners in the oven. During the Self-Cleaning cycle foil can burn or meit and damage the oven surface. Do not block the vent during the Self-Cleaning cycle. Air must move freely for best cleaning resuits. Do not leave piastto utensils near the vent. They may meft.
