1. Set the main unit to HOLD while stopped. 2. While pressing and holding [1/;], press [i] (darker) or [j] (lighter) on the main unit.
Adjust if unlit parts of the display are too dark or if the display is too light to read.

If you created an album such as 004album on the left, the files may not play in name order. The albums would play in the order 1, 2, 3, 4.

�Only artist name and track name ID3 tags (version 1.0 and 1.1) are displayed. �This unit is compatible with multi-session but if there are a lot of sessions it takes more time for play to start. Keep the number of sessions to a minimum to avoid this. �This unit cannot play files recorded using packet write. �If a CD-ROM format CD contains MP3 and files other than MP3, only the MP3 files will be playable. �Depending on how you create MP3 files, they may not play in the order you numbered them or may not play at all.

� Up to 30 characters can be scrolled in the display. �~� is displayed in excess of 30 characters. � �_� is displayed in place of characters this unit cannot display. � ID3 tags are indicated as �Id3 � before the artist name and �Id3 �before the track name. � � appears instead if ID3 titles haven�t been entered.
