Great Manual. This manual is available no where else. It was exactly what I was looking for. Only in German.

This GRUNDIG UV5A Owner Manual is not only an instruction manual but a total functional circuit description of the Multimeter and includes circuit diagram at the end pages. It is very helpful for repairing and calibrating the instrument. It is written in two languages English and German for international support. It was very easy to repair my unit with this document. The headphones/earphones cord is also the FM antenna, so extend it instead of leaving it coiled.

MONO Changing the sound quality
The operation is the same as when playing CDs. (� page 6)
Press and hold [MEMORY/RECALL] until the frequency appears to confirm the step.
� To return to the previous frequency step Repeat the above procedure. �Changing the step erases the stations you stored in memory.

1 Attaching the unit base.
Insert into notch. Place speaker with the cords on the left side.

Operations are the same using or not using the unit base and speakers. �The rechargeable batteries are also recharged in the unit base while the unit is off. �Turning off the speaker [OPR] does not turn the power off. Press [� OPR OFF] on the main unit (twice when playing a CD) to turn the power off. �These speakers do not have magnetic shielding.
