Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Automatisches Einstellen der Fernbedienung Wenn Sie den richtigen Code für Ihre Geräte-Marke nicht finden können, kann die Fernbedienung automatisch nach dem richtigen Code suchen.

Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Fernsehgerät eingeschaltet ist, und wählen Sie mit Hilfe der OriginalFernbedienung oder mit den Tasten am Gerät einen Kanal (zum Beispiel Kanal 1). Halten Sie die Tasten s und y auf der Fernbedienung SRU 1010 gleichzeitig fünf Sekunden lang gedrückt, bis die Anzeige weiterhin leuchtet.

Drücken Sie die Bereitschaftstaste y auf der SRU 1010 und halten Sie die Taste gedrückt.

Die SRU 1010 beginnt jetzt, alle bekannten �TV aus�-Signale nacheinander zu übertragen. Immer dann, wenn ein Code gesendet wird, blinkt die Anzeige.

Beim Abschalten des Fernsehgeräts (Bereitschaft) lassen Sie die Bereitschaftstaste y der SRU 1010 sofort los. Die Fernbedienung SRU 1010 hat jetzt einen Code gefunden, der für Ihr Fernsehgerät funktioniert. Kontrollieren Sie, ob Sie alle Funktionen Ihres Fernsehgeräts mit der SRU 1010 steuern können. Ist dies nicht der Fall, können Sie die automatische Einstellung erneut durchführen. Die SRU 1010 wird dann weiter nach einem Code suchen, der vielleicht besser funktioniert. Wenn die SRU 1010 alle bekannten Codes durchgegangen ist, stoppt der Suchvorgang automatisch und blinkt die Anzeige nicht mehr. Die automatische Einstellung eines Fernsehgeräts dauert max. 6 Minuten.
