Thanks God for the internet and thanks for the service like this - proffessional solution on time.
;
About the service it's very fast and reliable. About the manual the quality is high enough to read even the tiniest details on the wiring diagrams so you can't ask much more than that, let it alone for a manual of a product from 20 years ago. Thank you, very satisfied.
;
The downloaded quality was as good as the orignial

This is a great and complete Service Manual for the Sharp GF8585HB. Giving full and detailed technical insight. Good to find these manuals online.

Everything was ok with the manual. If I have a small complaint, is that I ordered it during the weekend and I think you guys were closed. But I did receive it late Sunday. I will surely order from you again

CRT CUT-OFF, BACKGROUND AND SUB-CONTRAST ADJUSTMENT
1. CRT CUT-OFF ADJUSTMENTS
Adjusting Point Sub-Brightness: R890 1. Receive E-5CH "MONOSCOPE PATTERN" signal. 2. Using the remote controller, call up the Video Normal mode. 3. Go to the service mode (Make short-circuit between TP1001 and TP1002.) and select the cutoff/background mode. 4. Connect the oscilloscope to TP852 (RED cathode). 5. Set the screen control to 0/10 position. 6. Press the "/" key on the remote controller to reach the horizontal centering mode. 7. Adjust the sub-brightness control (R890) so that the blanking pulse on the oscilloscope screen be 10 ± 1Vp-p. 8. Disconnect the oscilloscope from TP852. 9. Turn the screen control counterclockwise until the horizontal raster glimmers. 10.Adjust the cut-off data of the other two colours until the horizontal raster becomes whitish. Note: The data can be turned up and down with the above keys. R CUT OFF UP "1" key G CUT OFF DOWN "5" key R CUT OFF DOWN "4" key B CUT OFF UP "3" key G CUT OFF UP "2" key B CUT OFF DOWN "6" key 11.Turn the screen control counterclockwise until the horizontal raster disappears. Note: Before starting this adjustment, warm up the unit for 30 minutes or longer at a beam current of 1900 ± 50µA. 12.Press the "/" key on the remote controller to call the normal mode.
1. Receive the E-2CH "CROSSHATCH PATTERN" signal. 2. Using the remote controller, call the Normal mode. STATIC CONVERGENCE 1. Turn the 4-pole magnet to a proper opening angle in order to superimpose the blue and red colours. 2. Turn the 6-pole magnet to a proper opening angle in order to superimpose the green colour over the blue and red ones. DYNAMIC CONVERGENCE 1. Adjust the convergence on the fringes of the screen in the folloeing steps. a) Fig. a: Drive the wedge at point "a" and swing the deflection coil upward. b) Fig. b: Drive the wedge at points "b" and "c" and swing the deflection coil downward. c) Fig. c: Drive the "c"wedge deeper and swing the deflection coil rightward. d) Fig. d: Drive the "b"wedge deeper and swing the deflection coil leftward. 2. Fix all the wedges on the CRT and apply glass tape over them. 3. Apply lacquer to the deflection yoke lock screw, magnet unit (purity, 4-pole and 6-pole magnets) and magnet unit lock screw.

Receive the E-5CH "MONOSCOPE PATTERN" signal. Using the remote controller, call the Video Normal mode. Connect the ammeter between TP601 and TP602. Roughly adjust R1631 (Max beam adjustment) to have a beam current of about 1.9 mA. Receive the J-12CH (window pattern) signal. (Or receive the white balance pattern signal.) Adjust the G-drive and B-drive data to have a colour temperature of 12,300°K. (white). 12,300°K. Using the R-CUT OFF, G-CUT OFF, and B-CUT OFF controls, adjust the white/dark portion to 12,300°K. 8. Readjust the color temperature at the white peak. 9. Check the white/dark portion to make sure the colour temperature is 12,300°K. Note: Before starting this adjustment, warm up the unit for 30 minutes or longer at a beam current of 1900 ± 50µA.
