This scanned manual is well done in that most all the pages except for one is straight and clear- the way I would do them. One page was upside down but that happens. For the money that is charged on this site you get a pretty good deal. Now with complex repairs, I still prefer to us paper manuals which I have to buy at stereomanuals but the one I got here was much less than the $45 he was charging but this is a larger than normal manual for three different units. I am a picky manual user because I have used original manuals from Sony and Teac.

I used it to repair a NAD 7030, but unfortunately, the 7045 is different !

1-5-4. DC Fan (for Lamp)
Removal 1. Remove the cabinet. (Refer to Section 1-3.) 2. Remove the C board. (Refer to steps 3 to 7 of Section 1-4-1.) 3. Remove the lamp assembly. (Refer to steps 2 and 3 of Section 1-5-2.) 4. Remove the optical block assembly. (Refer to step 5 of Section 1-5-3.) 5. Remove the two screws (BTP3 x 12), then remove the lamp house. 6. Remove the two screws (BTP3 x 12), then remove the DC fan (for lamp). 7. Remove the two screws (BVTP3 x 6), then remove the thermostat.

1-5-5. DC Fan (for Lamp Power Supply) and TA Board
Removal 1. Remove the cabinet. (Refer to Section 1-3.) 2. Remove the C board. (Refer to steps 3 to 7 of Section 1-4-1.) 3. Remove the lamp assembly. (Refer to steps 2 and 3 of Section 1-5-2.) 4. Remove the lamp power supply board. (Refer to step 5 to 11 of Section 1-4-6.) 5. Remove the optical block assembly. (Refer to step 5 of Section 1-5-3.) 6. Remove the two screws (BVTP3 x 20), then remove the fan cover (B) and DC fan (Sirocco) [A]. 7. Remove the five screws (BTP3 x 12), then remove the duct (panel). 8. Remove the three screws (PTP4 x 45), then remove the DC fan (sirocco) [B]. 9. Remove the screw (BTP3 x 12), then remove the TA board.

Installation 8. Attach the DC fan (for lamp) in the reverse order of steps 5 to 7. 9. Assemble this unit in the reverse order of steps 1 to 4. Installation 10. Attach the DC fan (for lamp power supply) and TA board in the reverse order of steps 6 to 9. 11. Assemble this unit in the reverse order of steps 1 to 5.
