Superb rendition. Drawings (schematics) complete and unabridged. I do a great deal of vintage audio restoration. Documentation is essential for successful repairs. I have found sources over the years that offer good documentation, but rarely all that is necessary. Owner's Manuals has filled that void with complete and legible documentation. They have narrowed my "favorites" to a more manageable collection. This Denon manual in particular contained the latest revisions level, and offered alterations favorable to updating the item. The Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) was well enough detailed to simplify part symbols and physical locations. You will not be disappointed!

1 SIGNAL SELECT indicators Lights to indicate the type of input signal assigned for the current component: AUTO Lights when AUTO signal select is on SB (VSX-D811S only) Depending on the source, this lights when a signal with surround back channel encoding is detected. DIGITAL Lights when a digital audio signal is detected. 2 DIGITAL Lights when a Dolby Digital encoded signal is detected. ANALOG Lights when an analog signal is detected. DTS Lights when a source with DTS encoded audio signals is detected. 2 DTS When the Standard mode of the receiver is on, this lights to indicate decoding of a DTS signal. 3 2 DIGITAL When the Standard mode of the receiver is on, this lights to indicate decoding of a Dolby Digital signal. 4 2 PRO LOGIC II When the Standard mode of the receiver is on, this lights to indicate Pro Logic II decoding. 5 ATT Lights when INPUT ATT is used to attenuate (reduce) the level of the analog input signal. 6 DIRECT Lights when source direct playback is in use.
