This is one of four manuals I have downloaded recently.

Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Before Mounting
� A depth of at least 59 mm (2 /8 in.) (XS-HF78)/ 54.5 mm (2 /4 in.) (XS-HF58) is required for mounting the woofer. Keep the following in mind when choosing a mounting location. � A hole may already be provided in the metal frame of the front door. � Nothing should interfere with the speaker inside the door. � The speaker inside the door must not come into contact with the window when it is open. � Be careful that speakers are out of the way of the window cranks, door handles, and arm rests. If you cannot find an appropriate mounting location, check with your car dealer or consult the nearest Sony dealer.

� Une profondeur d�au moins 59 mm (2 /8 po.) (XS-HF78)/54,5 mm (2 1/4 po.) (XS-HF58) est nécessaire pour installer le haut-parleur des basses. Veuillez toujours garder ce point en mémoire lorsque vous choisissez un emplacement pour l�installation. � Un orifice peut déjà avoir été pratiqué dans le cadre métallique du volet frontal. � Dans la portière, rien ne doit gêner le hautparleur. � Lorsque la vitre est abaissée, elle ne doit pas toucher le haut-parleur encastré dans la portière. � Veillez à ce que les haut-parleurs ne soient pas dans le chemin des lève-vitres, des poignées de portière et des accoudoirs. Si l�on ne peut trouver un emplacement adéquat pour l�installation, prière de consulter le concessionnaire du véhicule ou le concessionnaire Sony le plus proche.
